If Anthony Chen had been any extra indebted to Edward Yangthe director’s newest movie, “We Are All Strangers,” might need to be titled “Singapore Story” after the Taiwanese New Wave filmmaker’s personal “Taipei Story.” The ultimate chapter of Chen’s “rising up” trilogy gives greater than only a longitudinal household saga. Just like the works of the mild cinematic big in whose shadow this work exists, the movie encompasses the transformations and tussles of his city-state residence on a much wider sociopolitical canvas.
