“Saturday Evening Stay” plunged headfirst into the BAFTA controversy with a sketch that featured a number of disgraced and cancelled celebrities blaming their offensive conduct on Tourette syndrome.
Final weekend, BAFTA attendee John Davidson, who has Tourette syndrome, had a number of involuntary outbursts that included a racial slur whereas Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindon had been presenting onstage. Davidson has since apologized for the second.
