A warning to any animal lover. It is a tough watch. From the opening moments of a documentary referred to as “Sentient,” as a hidden digicam takes us deep contained in the chilly, unforgiving hallways of a nondescript laboratory, layers of cages, every containing an animal quickly revealed to be primates, emit wails of confusion and claw at their environment as staff start to take away every from their respective dwellings in preparation for…one thing.
It’s not exhausting to guess what that is likely to be.
