Rachel McAdams had everybody choked up on the Oscars. There wasn’t a dry eye in the home after she honored her late pal Diane Keaton within the award present’s In Memoriam section.
Rachel informed the viewers, “Imagine me after I say there is not an actress of my technology who shouldn’t be impressed by and enthralled along with her absolute singularity.”
She added … “She wore so many hats, actually and figuratively, actress, artist, writer, activist, however no hat extra necessary to her than being a mom to her two kids. She meant a lot to so many people. I bear in mind she used to sing this previous Lady Scout music she used to sing on set, which is simply so her: ‘Make new mates, however hold the previous. One is silver, and the opposite is gold. A circle is spherical, it has no finish. That’s how lengthy I’ll be your pal.’ And so to our pal, Diane Keaton, celebrating a life in silver and gold, a legend with no finish.”
Keep in mind … Rachel starred alongside Diane within the 2005 rom-com “The Household Stone.”
Diane — a 4-time Academy Award nominee — handed away from pneumonia on October 11. She was 79.
