The rock-metal neighborhood is mourning a tragic loss.
On Saturday (March 14), it was revealed that Phil Campbellthe Welsh guitarist and longtime member of Motörheadhad died on the age of 64-year-old following a “a protracted and brave battle in intensive care after a posh main operation.”
Phil‘s household introduced his passing in a touching tribute posted on Fb.

“Phil was a faithful husband, a beautiful father, and a proud and loving grandfather, recognized affectionately as ‘Bampi,’” the assertion continued. “He was deeply liked by all who knew him and might be missed immensely. His legacy, music and the reminiscences he created with so many will reside on eternally. We kindly ask that our household’s privateness is revered throughout this extremely tough time.”
Phil is survived by his spouse, Gaynorand their sons Todd, Daneand Silence.
