Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth is daring Iran’s new Supreme Chief, Mojtaba Khameneito indicate his face … accusing him of hiding amid claims he is been disfigured, as a substitute of talking publicly.
Hegseth ripped into Khamenei after the 56-year-old’s first message since taking energy aired on Iranian state TV … a written assertion calling for unity that was learn aloud by a presenter.
In a Friday briefing, the Pentagon chief questioned why Khamenei didn’t seem on digital camera himself … suggesting he’s scared, injured, or on the run after the current strikes that killed his father.
Hegseth mentioned the message got here off weak with none voice or video … stating Iran has loads of cameras if the chief actually wished to deal with the general public.
He doubled down, claiming Iran’s management is determined and hiding underground — including bluntly, “That’s what rats do.”
Aside from the assertion, Khamenei hasn’t been seen publicly for the reason that U.S.-Israeli strikes on Feb. 28 that killed his father.
