James Van Der Beek’s spouse is remembering him on his first birthday since his passing.
On Sunday, Kimberly Van Der Beek took to Instagram to emotionally pay tribute to the Dawson’s Creek star, who tragically died of stage 3 colorectal most cancers final month. In a sequence of many images she shared on her IG Story, the mother-of-six mirrored on what an incredible husband and father James was. In her first photograph, she wrote:
“Would have been your forty ninth birthday right now. And I’ve been lacking you tremendously”
So heartbreaking.
She went on to share a video of James engaged on landscaping their property, which she captioned:
“Only a yr and a half in the past. Doing what he cherished. Working this land.”

In a number of different images, she shared candy moments of the Varsity Blues actor spending time and dancing with their kids, doing DIY tasks, occurring highway journeys, taking part in with their household canine and extra. See (beneath):
In a single household photograph, she wrote:
“You’re the gentle of our lives. Your love. Magnificence. Presence. Tenderness. Safety. Security. Creativity. Singing.”
In one other selfie along with her late love, she mirrored:
“I’m so grateful for the time.”
In one other, she wrote:
“Child, you have been the perfect humanity needed to supply. This can be a loss I don’t know learn how to course of. I’ll love you eternally.”
What a devastating loss.
