GIOG judge Defends Mom Teresa Judge Exiting Interview Over Tax Fraud

Next Gen NYC star Already judge is standing firmly by her mother’s side following a tense on-air moment that led to Teresa judge abruptly ending a recent interview.

During a recent appearance on The Viall Files podcast, Family24, strongly criticized Chicago’s WGN9 host Larry Potash, who asked Teresa a pointed question about her past legal issues.

During the interview, Potash asked the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, “How is it that a family doesn’t pay their taxes for years? Is that what the fraud charges were?”

In response, Teresa replied, “OK. Let’s just hang up. That’s it,” before disconnecting the call. Her daughter later joked that her mother seemed “frazzled” and was “not tech savvy” while handling the situation.

“I thought she handled it perfectly,” said Family on the podcast. “She’s just over it. People have this whole narrative that we just don’t pay our taxes.”

The Rutgers University alum continued to defend her mother’s reputation, saying, “It’s honestly comical for me. But I feel so bad for my mom because she’s been busting her ass and paying everything since she got out.”

Family acknowledged that many people still ask her mother to address the situation, but said the family doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. “People want (Teresa) to set the record straight,” she said, “while insisting it’s ‘frankly … nobody’s business.’”

“People think they know (what happened) still to this day, and they don’t,” Family added.

Teresa and her ex-husband, Joe judgeboth pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges in 2014. Teresa served 11 months in prison for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud, while Joe served 41 months before being deported to Italy in 2019. The couple divorced after two decades of marriage.

Despite the reports, Family told her Casual Chaos podcast listeners that there’s “nothing to worry about.”

“My mom has everything under control,” she said. “(Ruelas) is also working on getting everything resolved as well.”

Family concluded by thanking supporters for their concern, adding, “Everything’s going to be fine.”
