MUMBAI: FedEx will make investments ₹2,500 crore to construct a 300,000 sq. ft air cargo hub at billionaire Gautam Adani’s newly operational Navi Mumbai Worldwide Airport, the corporate stated on Wednesday.
The funding comes after Mint earlier reported that the worldwide courier main plans to start freighter operations from Navi Mumbai as early as Might, forward of the momentary shutdown of cargo flights at Mumbai Worldwide Airport from 1 August. FedEx and NMIA didn’t reply to Mint’s queries.
